Biography
I am very excited to be your child's Gifted and Talented teacher. I am completing 12 years of teaching education in the Corsicana Independent School District. I look forward to a great year!

In Gifted and Talented we learn through Project Based Learning, or PBL. PBL is the use of classroom projects to foster a deep understanding of content through an extended process of inquiry and problem solving. All projects are carefully planned, managed, assessed, but do allow the students the opportunity to make their own choices. While the students gain a deep understanding of key academic content, they are also learning essential 21st Century Skills as they create unique, innovative products.
