Point of View is the "eye", or the narrative voice that you use to tell a story. It is WHO is telling or narrating a story. There are several types of point of view:

There are two types of third person point of view: third person limited, and third person omniscient. Third person limited is when the narrator only knows what is going on inside the heart and mind of one person, while third person omniscient is when the narrator has full knowledge of all characters and situations. There is also subjective and objective points of view:

Objective POV is based on facts, while Subjective POV is based on personal opinions. Here are two examples:

Third person objective is when the narrator does not know any character's thoughts or feelings. It's just based on observable facts.
